The book is a Spanish/English dictionary. The wind, which has blown through the open window, has blown out the candle and splashed its hot wax across its pages.
The same wind has ripped up some text which has turned to birds which are flapping their way towards, and out of the open window.
This work is simply about being a Spanish-Mexican-American that speaks no Spanish, and the endless explaining that entails.
